our story
Through the desire of Faith Christian Community to have a positive and lasting outreach into the city of Anchorage, Faith Daycare & Learning Center, now Faith Learning Center was born.
In 1984 Faith Learning Center opened its doors to children aged 15 months through preschool and was licensed for 50 children. In subsequent years, infants as young as 6 weeks old were added. Followed by elementary children, increasing the license to 91 children. By 2000 Faith Learning Center was licensed for 120 children and has been caring for and educating infants through 6th grade since.
Faith Learning Center has an excellent reputation in Anchorage. We strive to create a strong bond between caregivers and children and to give parents peace of mind while they are at work that their child is well cared for. We strive to not only have a positive impact on a child’s life for growth in mind and body, but to have an eternal impact in how we show God’s love to the children and families each and every day.
